Maria's Climb for Clean Air

I am excited to announce that I am participating in the American Lung Association’s 19th annual CLIMB FOR CLEAN AIR. This July, I will be climbing the second highest peak in the continental U.S., Mount Rainier, with the guidance of mountaineering guru, Lou Whittaker – and I want to invite you to come along! In spirit that is…

Rather than climbing to the top of the Northwest landmark known as (gulp!) “the toughest climb in the lower 48” solely for personal reasons, I have pledged to raise $3,500 to help aid the American Lung Association in their fight against lung disease.

The American Lung Association of Washington uses these funds to educate the public about the increasing problem of air pollution and its damaging effects on lung health, to heighten public awareness and to continue its commitment to air-quality legislation. Air pollution-related illness and lost productivity costs Washington State almost $1 billion annually. Your contribution will help reach their goals of healthy, disease-free lungs, cleaner air and smoke free kids.

You can make a difference . . . please join me in supporting this very important cause. Thank you in advance for your support and generosity.

All my best,

Maria
